VANYASHIZ
RELEASES
In 2000s VANYASHIZ got fascinated with hardware synthesizers with analog acid and digital electro sound and assembled a set of Waldorf Q, Roland TB-303, Roland TB-909, and SID Custom. During his life in Kiev, VANYASHIZ released several singles and remixes in electro house and euro trance styles that included the "Insomnia" single that got into Top100 of electro house at Beatport.
In 2009 he created the remix at Mr.DYF (Damian Force) "Hold On" with Shena’s vocals; the remix was released on Freemasons Records label, made the hit in Russian clubs and for a few years sounded at every party in Moscow.
In 2013, together with Adeseyo, an electronic musician and his friend from Kiev, VANYASHIZ launched a YOPTARECORDS label. On this label they released joint works in gangsta house style such as "Move On, The Power, Sun is Shining ", etc. The works were a great success in Russian and European clubs and became chart-toppers.
In 2014 they released a joint track Shiz & Adeseyo "I have a dream" where they used an old historical sample with the voice of the most famous speech by Martin Luther King in which he proclaimed his vision of the future where Caucasians and Afro-Americans would have equal civil rights.
In 2015, being tired of the Moscow bustle and striving for new experiences, VANYASHIZ and Adeseyo moved to the South of China where for 3 years they worked as resident DJs in A-Club in Zhuhai playing g-house music on vinyl that was new to the Chinese club stage.
In 2018 VANYASHIZ moved to Las Vegas where he started working on his new album "Fall to Infinity".
His serial hard techno parties FUCKHARDTECHNO and BLUE BIRTH gathered up to 1000 people at a time and many of those rave parties ended up with drug police raids.
After a successful release of "Hold On" VANYASHIZ signed a contract with "FORBESCLUB" that was run by its founder and electronic musician Mr.DYF (Damian Force); after signing this contract VANYASHIZ moved to Moscow and stayed there for 7 years.
In Moscow he worked as a resident DJ of several top clubs such as "Imperia, Most, Home Sweet Home, Chipurin, Prada cafe, Premier Lounge..." and was invited as a guest by many clubs in Russia.
"It was very exciting and unusual to see a dance-floor full of surprised Chinese who were exposed to this music style for the first time. It was challenging to stir them up with slow BPM and deep sound, but when it happened it brought us a lot of unforgettable emotions” said VANYASHIZ and Adeseyo.
VANYASHIZ calls the sound of his new album “euro dance”; the music was mostly created with classic synthesizers of 1990s - Roland D50, Yamaha DX7, Roland JUNO 106 with little to no use of samples.
The first track of "You Know" album had a synth sound and TR-707 original drum typical of 1990s; the old-school sound is beautifully mixed with a deep bass and a modern melodic line. It brought color to the sound, made the hearts of 1990s clubbers beat faster and brought back pleasant memories while younger members of the audience deemed this sound as mainstream.
For different reasons VANYASHIZ has used three variants of his name for music releases - Vanyashiz, Vanya Shiz и Shiz.
In 1999 VANYASHIZ moved to Kiev where, for the first time in his life, he visited a real night techno club. Impressed with what he had seen, bought turntables & mixer, and started his successful DJ career working as a resident DJ in more than 20 best clubs in Kiev, such as "Orangerea Supper Club, Cinema, BarSky, Buddha-bar, Prime, Chaikovsky, Ganesha, The Most and many others; he also was invited to the clubs of other Ukrainian cities.

At the age of 16 (1994) he bought a Korg DS-8 synthesizer and an Alesis MMT-8 sequencer. In 1990, inspired by the music of Robert Miles, MAXX, Culture Beat, 2 Unlimited, Loft, Ice MC and others, he created his first album "Life for you" containing 10 vocal and instrumental tracks in the styles of euro dance and euro trance.

VANYASHIZ was born in the Ukranian city of Krivoi Rog where he lived until eighteen years of age, got a higher music education and started his DJ and music career.
